Little Girl Kidnapped At A Party In Port-Harcourt, Found 4 Years After (Photo)

A young girl identified as Onyinyechi Okpala who was kidnapped in Port-Harcourt on 30th November 2014 when she was 2, has been found after 4 years.


The little girl had gone for an end of year party which was hosted by “Taribo” her uncle in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state, with her mother. However her distraught mother who searched everywhere for her, went home without her.


However on 20th August 2018, the kidnapped girl regained her freedom after the Imo State Police Command busted a child trafficking syndicate. A total of eleven (11) stolen children regained their freedom, as the Imo Police officers arrested eight (8) suspects in connection with child stealing and trafficking.

Some parents of the missing kids have been identified, following the arrests made between 24/07/2018 and 17/08/2018 at Agbor Park in Benin City Edo State and Imo State respectively. A statement from the Imo State Police Command on the kidnapped kids, reads;

Operatives of the Imo State Police Command have arrested eight (8) suspects in connection with child stealing and trafficking. The arrests were made between 24/07/2018 and 17/08/2018 at Agbor Park in Benin City Edo State and Imo State respectively. A total of eleven (11) stolen children were recovered from the suspects some of whom have been identified by their parents.


The children are between 1yr and 9yrs respectively. Investigation has revealed that two (2) of the recovered children Habeeb and Wunmi were stolen from Sabo area of Lagos State. Suspects have confessed to have sold some of the children between three hundred thousand (N300, 000) and six hundred thousand (N600, 000) naira as case may be before they were arrested.


Parents/Guardians whose child/children are missing are advised to report to the Public Relations Department of the State Police Command for Identification and collection of their children.


The Commissioner of Police Imo State CP Dasuki D. Galadanchi has eulogized the community policing strategic efforts of the command as he has resolved to make Imo State very hot for criminals to operate.

How to whiten teeth naturally

The following strategies may help to whiten teeth:



 Making dietary changes



Eliminating foods that mark the teeth can prevent further staining. Foods and beverages that contain tannins, such as wine and tea, can stain the teeth. Coffee and dark sodas and juices can also stain them.



Acidic foods can make the teeth look yellow by wearing down the enamel. People who are concerned about the color of their teeth should avoid the excessive consumption of citrus, coffee, and soda. Alternatively, they should always brush their teeth after having them.



Dentists generally recommend waiting 30 minutes after eating before brushing the teeth. Acids can weaken the enamel, so brushing too soon can cause damage.



Quitting smoking  or tobacco products can reduce the risk of nicotine stains. It can also prevent tooth decay and gum disease, both of which can damage the enamel and cause orange teeth.

What to do: Sprinkle the white side of an orange peel with sea salt  then gently rub a small piece onto your teeth for 2 minutes. Rinse then brush with regular toothpaste or baking soda to remove all citrus residue.

Why this work: The white part of a citrus peel naturally contains d-limonene a substance that is used in commercial teeth whitening products. Salt is naturally abrasive and can help remove surface stains.





Brushing with baking soda

Baking soda can gently polish away stains on the surface of the teeth. Some people worry that baking soda is too harsh and may grind away enamel, but research from 2017found it to be a safe way to remove stains.



Baking soda may also help to fight bacteria, which suggests that it may be able to reduce plaque and prevent tooth decay.



Trying oil pulling

Oil pulling is the term for washing the mouth with oil to remove dirt, bacteria, and debris. It is not a substitute for regular brushing or flossing, but some research  suggests that washing the mouth with certain oils may help to whiten the teeth.

The American d (ADA) consider oil pulling to be unconventional dentistry, stating, "there are no reliable scientific studies to show that oil pulling reduces cavities, whitens teeth, or improves oral health and well-being."

To try this method, rinse the mouth with oil for a minute after brushing, then spit it out.

Archaeologists found the graves of two men with severed legs

An archaeological survey along the route of a highway expansion project in Cambridgeshire, England, has unearthed the skeletal remains of two men with an unusual mutilation and burial .



The bones date to the late Roman or early Anglo-Saxon period. Their legs were cut off at the knees and repositioned by their shoulders. It’s not clear whether the amputations were done pre-, peri- or post-mortem, but initial analysis suggests the severed legs were still fleshed, at least partially, before they were placed at the shoulders.

The two bodies were buried at right angles to each other in a T-shape with their heads facing outwards. They were not laid to rest in a formal burial ground; they were interred in a gravel pit.




The best scenario the archaeologists can hope for is that the unfortunate men were dead when their legs were mutilated. It also appears their skulls were smashed in, although that could be later damage.

“Was it to keep them in their graves and stop them from running away?” said Kasia Gdaniec, the senior archaeologist with Cambridge county council. “Or had they tried to run away and was this a punishment – and a warning to everyone else not even to think of it?”

The bones (crushed skulls excepted) are in good condition and even with a smashed skull one of them has an excellent set of teeth. DNA analysis, stable isotope analysis and radiocarbon dating should therefore be possible which will narrow down when the individuals died, their sexes, where they were raised  and a number of other details about them.



The unusual burials were discovered in one of the largest excavation projects in UK history. Teams have excavated 40 sites over 350 hectares where the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon is being widened to alleviate congestion.



 Archaeologists have found a wide array of remains of Bronze Age barrows to medieval towns, but the Roman finds are of particular note, illustrating the progress of occupation, how the landscape and population were bent to the Roman will.



Gdaniec finds the whole site quite sinister. “People talk about the archaeology of conquest, but I have never felt it as strongly as here.



The Romans arrive, the people who were here are completely subjugated, everything changes and is never the same again. We are not seeing trade and peaceful co-existence here, we are seeing enslavement.”



The site had been enclosed by a rather wiggly ditch, more a windbreak than either seriously defensive or a statement of power.



The Romans then arrived and by stupendous effort drove a huge ditch across it, almost two metres deep and three wide with the spoil heaped up into a huge bank.



Despite its size and the labour involved, there was no evidence of large permanent Roman buildings and so the archaeologists believe it was a temporary camp on the march north towards Hadrian’s Wall.



Within the new enclosure, farming became much more organised and intensive, with wheat and other cereals, beans and root crops being grown. […]



The site has also has also produced scores of pottery kilns, some so tiny the archaeologists joked they must have been for egg cups, others large and sophisticated, producing domestic and storage pottery on an industrial scale. Tonnes of pottery were found along the excavation sites.



“We have some of the pottery they produced,” House said. “It will be interesting to see if we can match it to pottery from other Roman sites. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the pots from this field ended up on Hadrian’s Wall.”
