I HAVE GIVEN UP HOPE ON HUMMANITY, A NIGERIAN GUY SAYS.
This is the story
of a young boy from nigeria who was
staying abroad. One fateful night it happens that there was a robbery attack in
the area { name withheld }.
Some people died due to the attack . The police
quickliy came to the area, but unfortunately the armed robbers had already escaped.
There was this black boy that was among the people that were robbed.
The police
carried out an investigation to make sure the robbers were not among the people
claiming to be robbed. A white woman offered to narrate the incident to the
police. The police asked her if she could recognize any of the robbers if she
sees them.
Of course the woman said yes, the police had to bring their suspects
before her. " you know what" Most of the suspects brought before her
were nigerians. The white woman pointed at this nigerian boy claiming she could
recognize his face.
The nigerian boy { name with held } begged and pleaded
innocent. The police officers ignored all his pleas and charged him to court.
In the court, the judge asked this same woman if she was really sure she saw
the nigerian boy. Her answer was yes.
The boy was sentenced to 20 years
imprisonment. This boy cried, weeped and pleaded innocent, but nobody listened
to him. He stayed in prison for the first year, second year, third year till
the fifteenth year. Which means he had 5 years remaining.
After 15
years, it happened that the case was brought up again by the relative of one of the deceased that was
robbed.
This same white woman was invited to the court, this time the case was
judged by a different judge. The white woman was asked again if she really saw him. " guess what
her answer was" she said no, she was not sure, he just look like a thief
because he was black.
The judge bent his head in guilt and shame likewise other
police officers that were there. They were so ashamed of themselves. The young
nigerian boy aithough now a man was released immediately, the judge begged him
likewise other law officers.
They told him to mention anything he wants, and it
will be given to him immediately.

But, guess what he said, he said they should buy him a dog.
They quickly bought it, thinking that he was going to ask for something
reasonable.

He said he was tired of hummanity, he prefered
to live with a dog who can trust him as his master. He had lost his family,
locating his relatives will be a big problem what else do they want. They had
made his life to be meaningless and worthless.
After saying all this the judge was even more ashamed that
such punishment was mated on this young boy.
